STANDARD TERMS and CONDITIONS OF SALE
Credit Terms
Credit terms are net 30 days from invoice date for those accounts with credit approval from our credit department. Orders for accounts without credit approval, accounts which have reached their credit limit, accounts with past due balances or accounts having returned checks will be shipped on a Credit Card basis. There will be a $30.00 fee for any returned checks. Credit Cards accepted are MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
Prices
The prices contained on this website are effective as of today. Such prices supersede prior price lists, catalogs, and quotations. All prices, specifications and product descriptions contained herein are subject to change without prior notification. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of any product without prior notification.
Shipping
Please see the Freight Charges section under your online account with us for specific freight free amounts as described below. Except for the situations listed below all orders are shipped freight paid to the shipping point (“prepay and add”)
- Orders of small parts exceeding the amount listed under “Small Parts Freight Free” shall ship freight prepaid within the Continental U.S. by a carrier of our choice. Small parts shall exclude any large, bulk items including fire extinguishers, recharge agent, hazardous materials, cabinets and fire extinguisher stands, lengths of pipe over 24”, grease filters, duct access doors, fire hose, fire hose racks and reels, HD vehicle brackets and system cylinders. Additional items may be added to this list of exclusions as necessary without further notification.
- Standard size pallet orders exceeding the amount listed under “Pallet LTL Freight Free” will ship freight prepaid by a carrier of our choice. Prepaid freight terms are subject to change based on current shipping costs and shipment/location specific accessory charges. Special orders (as described below) do not qualify for prepaid freight.
- Bulk orders equal to or greater than the amount listed under “DFPS Delivery Freight Free” may be shipped freight free on one of our delivery trucks to destinations within 75 miles of our warehouse in Farmingdale, NJ and Springport, IN. Orders shipped on one of our delivery trucks that are less than this amount or which are shipped on a “rush” basis may be subject to delivery charges.
- Any drop ship order eligible for free freight from the manufacturer shall be shipped directly from such manufacturer freight prepaid within the Continental U.S. by a carrier of their choice.
Special Orders
We can “special order” most items related to the fire protection equipment industry. A “Special Order” is any item which we do not normally stock in inventory. Special Orders are not returnable and are shipped freight paid to the shipping point.
Returns
Returns due to customer error will be accepted, subject to the freight charges associated with such order. Returns due to our error will be accepted with no charge for the freight associated with such error. Please call us in advance to receive a return authorization number and shipping instructions. Please have our invoice number available prior to calling regarding returns. Returns sent C.O.D. will not be accepted. “Special Orders” are not returnable. Returns must be completed within 14 days of invoice date.
Warranty
Dolan’s Fire Protection Supply, LLC (the “Company”) makes no warranty or representation of any kind, either express or implied, as to any items ordered from the Company. Warranties issued by the manufacturer of an item (the “Warranties”), if any, vary depending upon the item and the manufacturer. Such Warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. In the event there is a product defect, the Company’s entire obligation and liability shall be limited to replacement of the product or products. Such replacement obligation shall be in lieu of any other obligation or warranty, express or implied.
Minimum Billing
There is no minimum order level. Dolan’s Fire Protection Supply is here to serve you and fill all your orders,
large or small.
